I'm against glorifying crime, which often happens in a true crime book; Louis Romano didn't do this! Levit doesn't do this. Reading Levit's story gives you a unique view of how people end up in a life of crime.
Louis Romano took the time to fact-check as much as he could, which is noticeable in the book.
While a life of crime is a bad thing (I can't think of a better word), I was cheering for Levit at one point. Sometimes, we make bad choices and must deal with the consequences. Levit's Story shows this.
I'm aware some people will call Levit a rat, and others will admire them. Read the book and judge yourself.
Overall, I learned something from this book, and I hope everyone who reads it does the same. I encourage all to read it!
